Udyoga Mela: Community Job Fair and Skills-to-Work Pathway

EquityEd organized the Udyoga Mela to bridge the gap between local job seekers and real employment opportunities within the Panchayat. Through coordinated outreach with community leaders and local networks, EquityEd mobilized participants and partnered with employers and training providers to create a single, accessible space for hiring support. The job fair offered direct connections to openings, basic employability guidance, and pathways to skill development, helping participants understand job requirements, prepare for interviews, and take concrete next steps toward stable work. By bringing opportunities into the village rather than expecting residents to navigate distant systems alone, the Udyoga Mela strengthened livelihoods, supported household stability, and reinforced EquityEd’s broader mission of community-led development through practical, measurable outcomes.
